We are very excited for another growing year. Our oldest vines are 24 years old and still bringing us good fruit and ultimately good wine. Chaz Knapp and Full Circle Pizza will be here to kick off Spring and help us celebrate Life, You, Friendships and the anticipation of a great harvest.

Every year we celebrate the magic and wonder of Budbreak. This is when the new buds open and prepare to become beautiful shoots with gorgeous grape clusters. We have Full Circle Pizza and Mama Bri Bri and the Stranger to kick off the party. We will also have some yummy Easter treats for you and a few special Eggs with a surprise inside. We have a wonderful evening planned for Valentine’s Day! Chaz Knapp will be singing with that smooth deep voice of his and Zelda LeCoat will have amazing food at 4 four food stations. The stations will allow you to mingle and enjoy the evening at your own pace. The menu will be published when the tickets are posted. We will do a pre release of our 2023 Rose’ that is delicate, pink and yummy! There will be candlelight and roses . Tickets will be $95 per person, (singles are welcome), the ticket includes 4 courses, 3 glasses of HCV wine of your choice, live music by Chaz Knapp, tax and gratuity. There will be 30 tickets for this event.

We will have soup to share and encourage you to bring one too. Everyone who brings a pot of soup to share at this community pot luck will receive $10 off their tab for the day. We have the bowls, ladles, crackers and spoons. You can plug in a crock pot and spend the day with us sipping and ‘slurping’.

These two amazing chefs, Steve Schopen and Paul Anctil, will each prepare two dishes for you to savor while they explain/demo how they have created the dish. Two glasses of wine are included in your ticket and there will be dessert for everyone after the chef courses. There will be 26 seats for this event, each ticket is $95 which includes tax and gratuity, 4 chef prepared dishes, 1 dessert and 2 glasses of wine.

Mama Bri Bri and the Stranger will be at Hunting Creek Vineyards on Saturday, October 26, 2024 for an evening event under the stars. We will have ribs from D&D skins as well as chicken, pasta salad, mac n cheese and cornbread for sale. How much better can it get? October is Virginia Wine Month AND October is National Chili Month! Let’s celebrate BOTH!

Bring a pot of chili on Sunday, October 6 if you want to go up against some other passionate chili masters! Judging (by attendees) will begin at 2:00 pm. Winners announced around 3:30 pm.

There will be wine and sangria to enjoy and there might even be a football game to watch.

Get those recipes perfected and bring on the heat…or the mild…we can’t wait for the potluck chili competition to begin! Each person who brings a chili will receive $5 off of their wine purchase and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

Join us for a fun evening with David Duffer entertaining us while you graze the yummy taco bar.

We are changing the Harvest Party up this year. Milt has always wanted to have a chef demo event so we hope this is the first in a series. First featured chefs are Zelda Le Coat and Miles Perkins. Both chefs will make two dishes, you will be able to eat and mingle with the first dish then be seated for the chef to explain their first dish and then demo their second which will be passed to you to enjoy while the chef is demonstrating and sharing. The second chef will follow the same pattern. Food starts at 4pm, 1st demo at 5, more food afterwards and 2nd demo at 6pm. We are limiting tickets to 60 for this event.

Two glasses of wine are included with your Harvest Party ticket. Additional wine and sangria will of course be available for purchase. Food to include chef versions of the following; Smoked pork shoulder with honey roasted carrots. Braised butter beans and dumplings with parsnips. Crispy spinach pies all dolled up. Caramelized black pepper chicken with jasmine rice.

As a fun bonus Myra will be doing tastings of her new sunflower oil and balsamic vinegars. You will be delighted with the amazing flavors of those and how you can use them. You will also be able to purchase her oil and vinegars.
